Assets – all of the elements that go into your social media ads.

Ad Sets –  Ad sets contain one or more ads. You'll define your targeting, budget, schedule, bidding and placement at the ad set level.

Campaign – an advertising plan that usually targets a specific goal or milestone.

Click Through Rate (CTR) – The Percentage of people who clicked on your post of ad after seeing it. [ Click ÷ impressions = % ]

Copy – The written elements of your post or advertising

Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) – How much money it takes to convince someone to buy your product.

Cost per Click (CPC) – How much money it takes to get one person to click on your post or ad.

Cost Per Thousand Impressions (CPM) – How much money it takes to reach 1,000 people with your ad.

Creative – The visual or the multimedia elements of your advertisement. 

Engagement – any type of interaction with your post or ad.

Impressions – The number of times people see your ad in a social feed.

Return on investment (ROI) -  sum of all social media actions that create value, and the resources put in. Profit / total investment (people hours, ad budget, etc.) X 100 = social media ROI (as a percentage)

Targeting – Delivering content to a specific demographic or user to achieve a desired action
